Spirit-led—We
believe that all the vision, structure and organization necessary for a
church are meaningless unless the Holy Spirit is living and moving among
us. We want him to go with us and do in and through us what
cannot be done without him, which is all ministry. Lost
People Matter (Evangelism & Missions)—We believe that Jesus left us on the earth when he
saved us to tell lost people of his saving grace in his Son, Jesus Christ. In fact, evangelism will be the only thing we will not be
able to do when we are in heaven. Reaching
people for Jesus is of chief concern.
There are over two billion people among many ethnic groups in the
world who have never heard the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ.
We believe it is mandatory on our generation to make the church
aware of lost people in the world and to use our resources to reach them. True Worship—A church must be a people who truly worship. Because of who God is and what he has done we should be overwhelmed with his greatness and worth. That Jesus has died as a satisfaction of God's wrath against us it ultimate truth that drives to the throne of God in praise. We believe that worshiping God should be present in every facet of our lives. Corporate worship together should consist of celebration and solemn reflection. We like to sing praises to God with music that incorporates both. Correct
Doctrine—We
genuinely believe that teaching sound doctrine is the cure for many
unhealthy and unwise patterns of living that many Christians get caught up
into. Correct doctrine,
taught with love and humility, will help God's people live their lives
pleasing to him. Prayer—We
believe that prayer is the means God has ordained for his people to
experience his fellowship and power.
Because we are needy and cannot accomplish the work on our own, we
know that we must ask him and believe that he will do it. Unconditional
Acceptance—We
know that people in our world are struggling.
Many people have lived their lives in ways that are far from
God’s standard. As a
result, they have wounds, scars, hang-ups, baggage, unhealthy
philosophies, and habits, etc. that are difficult to accept.
We believe that as recipients of God’s grace, Christians ought to
be the most gracious people on the planet.
Therefore, we want to be accepting of people no matter what theirs
lives have been or are like. Quality/Excellence—We
desire that everything we do as a church be done as to the Lord.
We want quality in every aspect of the ministry, especially in
worship, music, preaching and children's ministry.
